Our Mission
Our mission is to guide women along the journey of becoming whole individuals by using evidence based work to strengthen their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual health.
The Story of “Wholly Miss”
In 2021, Wholly Miss Holistic Wellness LLC was established to meet the health needs of women in our community. This initiative was inspired by the personal and widely-shared stories of women regarding their wellness journeys—both the highs and the lows. Today, we are proud to offer services that will create a lasting, positive impact on families for generations to come.
It is crucial to understand the importance of a healthy mother. When a mother is healthy, there is a higher likelihood that the entire family will also be healthy. A healthy family leads to individuals who contribute more positively to society. The butterfly effect of a mother’s nurturing can extend far and wide.
Unfortunately, the reality is that we do not always see the benefits of healthy women in our society. This is evident in alarming statistics, such as African American women having the highest maternal mortality rate in the nation. Additionally, Haiti has the highest rate of maternal mortality in the Western Hemisphere. These statistics hit home for our Co-Founder, Kimberly Pierre, a Haitian American woman.
Having lost loved ones due to health disparities, Kimberly was motivated to turn these tragedies into a catalyst for health advocacy. Thus, Wholly Miss Holistic Wellness was born, with the mission to educate and guide women on the path toward health liberation. Our vision is to create a centralized wellness center that addresses the holistic needs of women. This includes, but is not limited to, community-based doula services, health coaching, wellness products, and more.
Our dedicated executive team consists of co-founders Kimberly Pierre and Gabrielle Garcon, as well as health professional Danielle Pierre. This remarkable trio supports one another administratively through Wholly Miss, and personally through their mother-daughter bond. Family is the cornerstone of Wholly Miss, and we actively work to strengthen the health foundations of many families in our community—one woman at a time.
The unique aspect of Wholly Miss’s services is that they are tailored to women of all ages, backgrounds, and stages in their health journey. We are here to support you, no matter where you are in your wellness journey!
In the future, our goal is to establish a domestic and international nonprofit organization that provides sponsored goods and services to those in need.
Now that you’ve learned more about us and the foundational pillars Wholly Miss stands on, we hope you’ll join us in our mission to dismantle the health barriers negatively affecting our communities. You can support us by joining our social media networks, making a donation, or other ways that resonate with you.
Thank you!
